Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what data the online services of the game Crescent Royale (“the game”) (crescentroyale.ehserver.com) process and why. It is short and describes what our server actually does.
Who is responsible
The game is published by Nedese LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom (8/A Greenwood Grove, Nedese Office, Marcham, Abingdon, England, OX13 6FR). Contact: info@nedese.com.
Account and device ID
The game has no password-based accounts; you play as a guest. On first launch the game creates a random ID on your device and sends it to our server; we do not store the ID itself, only a one-way hash of it (SHA-256). Our server gives you a unique player code (for example 7F3A-9C12) and an access key that the game uses to talk to the server; the key is valid for 90 days, and the game gets a new one when it expires. If the game sends them, we also record the device model, operating system version, platform, game version and the interface language taken from your phone’s language.
Sign in with Google (optional)
If you like, you can sign in with your Google account on the game’s ACCOUNT screen, so that your progress and purchases come back on another phone. Sign-in happens in Google’s own window; your password never reaches us. We have the ID token issued by Google verified by Google, and we store only your Google account’s permanent ID number, the email address verified by Google and the time of linking. Your email address is not visible to other players and is not shown in the game; it is used only to restore your account and to support you. If a profile already exists for your Google account, the game asks you first, and if you confirm, this phone switches to that profile.
Player name and leaderboard
You can choose a player name if you like. Your name, your numbers of kills and wins and the number of matches you played are shown to other players on the leaderboard (weekly and all-time). If you do not choose a name, you appear without one. A name is optional; do not use your real name or anything that identifies you. Offensive or misleading names are rejected or removed.
Match results
At the end of each match the game sends our server your rank, your number of kills, the number of players in the match, the match duration, the map and the character you chose. The server uses them to update your totals (matches played, wins, total kills and most kills in one match, best rank). Match records are deleted after 24 months; your totals remain as long as your account exists.
In-game economy and inventory
The game syncs with our server your coin and gem balance, the characters you unlocked and selected, your daily login streak, the number of blades you collected and the continues you used. This way your progress comes back when you reinstall the game or change phones. In case of cheating or errors we may correct these values, and we may give coins or gems as support. This data is not visible to anyone else.
Ad, continue and store events
The game reports to our server, with the time: where an ad was shown and whether it was watched, whether you accepted a continue offer, which character you unlocked and how (coins, gems, trial with an ad or purchase), where your coins came from and where they went, and mission and daily reward claims. We use this to balance the game and to see that the ad and store flows work; it contains nothing that identifies you.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ads in the game are served by Google AdMob (rewarded ads: continue, double coins, character trial; interstitial ads between matches). To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob sends data such as your advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device and app information and ad interactions directly from your device to Google; this data does not reach our server. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent with Google’s consent form on first launch; you can change your choice at any time with PRIVACY OPTIONS on the game’s ACCOUNT screen. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone’s settings. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Purchases
When you buy a product (for example a premium character), the game sends our server the product, the platform, the order number issued by the store and a one-way hash of the receipt. Payment is made through the app store (Google Play); your card or bank details never reach us. Purchase records are kept so that we can restore what you bought and resolve incorrect charges.
IP address and server logs
Our server keeps the IP address of the connection (last seen IP) and ordinary server access logs. We use them to prevent cheating and attacks and to find errors. We do not derive a location from the IP address.
What we do not collect
No real name, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or microphone. Our server does not receive the advertising ID (only AdMob processes it). We store an email address only if you sign in with Google.
Sharing
We do not sell data. The leaderboard is public (player names and statistics). The data on our server stays on our own server and is not shared with anyone; all connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Google (AdMob ads, Sign in with Google and Google Play purchases) processes the data it collects under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis
Our contract with you, to provide the online service (leaderboard, statistics, restoring your progress, Sign in with Google, purchases); our legitimate interest, to prevent cheating and abuse and to balance the game; and your consent, for personalised ads (in the countries where it is required).
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Deleting your account and your rights
You can delete your account and data from inside the game right away: tap DELETE ACCOUNT on the ACCOUNT screen and confirm. Your account, device records, Google link, inventory, and event and match records are deleted at that moment, and the game starts again as a new guest. Purchase records are kept for legal retention but are detached from your account. If you cannot access the game, send your player code (shown on the ACCOUNT screen) to info@nedese.com and we will carry out the same deletion. Step by step: delete your account. You also have the right to access and correct your data and to complain to a data protection authority (in the United Kingdom, the ICO).
Changes
If a new service is added (for example another ad network or usage analytics), this policy is updated and the date above changes.
